Anita Barone

Barone is featured in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld from the fourth season. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a chef that wants Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was a cast member on Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone appeared as Carol Willick Geller's ex-wife at the time of her first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement as Barone left Friends in order to take on a new role which required longer time. Barone appeared in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in its first season (from 1995 until 1996) as well as on The War at Home between 2005 until 2007. Barone co-starred alongside Daddio in 2000. Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone took home the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role in the show One Last Ride. Barone's role as a regular on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up was first introduced in the year 2010, three years after The War at Home finished its running. She played Officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. The actor who plays Barone's husband Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones who was the husband of Barone's character.
